Executive Chef
Salary: $125,000 + quarterly bonus
Location: Chicago, IL
We are working with a client that offers a boasting culinary experience that reflects the cities diverse and vibrant food scene within their hotel.
They are seeking an Executive Chef to join their team and over see 3 outlets and uphold them to their creative offerings and exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
Direct daily kitchen operations, maintaining standards for food production and service.
Collaborate with F&B Director to design profitable menus and enhance culinary experiences.
Elevate restaurant's market position through strategic initiatives.
Participate in promotional activities to engage current and prospective guests.
Stay updated on industry culinary trends.
Supervise culinary team, fostering talent development.
Evaluate product quality and cost effectiveness.
Manage budgeted labor and food costs.
Control expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management.
Develop menus and dish specifications.
Executive Chef Qualifications:
5+ years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume hotel
Ability to lead others and hold your own in a fast-paced environment
A well-rounded and motivated culinary professional who can support and inspire team members
Detail orientated professional with excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills
