How did we get this idea? Sudozi was started by Rose Punkunus , former Uber US & Canada CFO. At Uber Rose was the second strategic finance hire and helped scale the entire finance organization during the fastest period of growth for Uber (2013-2017). Building Procurement processes and systems pre-IPO were critical to the company’s long term success (As of Feb 2024, Uber had a market cap of $160B).
On the path to IPO, companies need to improve their approval processes, get better visibility to spend data, and avoid implementing clunky old school software that doesn’t work. Sudozi solves that for modern teams.
About the role Sudozi partners with companies like Consensys, Handshake, Enigma and other growing organizations to help them manage Procurement: Intake, Approvals, and Vendor Management. We have an amazing team with employees previously at Uber, Google, The Realreal, and Carta, and so far we have scaled with founder-led sales.
Our software powers our customer’s approval processes and also helps them collaborate with their vendors directly in our app. Sudozi uniquely enables our customers to manage workflows and access the data they need. We’re looking for our first marketer to work directly with the founder and help Sudozi scale messaging, demand generation, and overall growth efforts.
Marketing strategy: Set goals, plan, and prioritize across all areas of marketing.
Execute marketing plans: With design and other fractional resources, execute on the marketing plan to support marketing goals.
Cross-functional leader: Collaborate on company strategy, be the voice of the customer, and serve as the liaison between product and the business.
Product Marketing: Gain a deep understanding of our audience, develop our positioning and messaging, and communicate about the product and its benefits to our audience.
Growth Marketing: Launch, track, and optimize programs/campaigns across multiple channels to move prospects and customers down the funnel.
Content Marketing: Own the content calendar and leverage the founder and product advisors to tell the Sudozi story to engage prospects, customers, and partners.
Comms: Partner with product and design to craft internal product copy to increase virality and brand awareness.
Marketing team management & hiring: Current role is an Individual Contributor with the opportunity to move into management as the team scales.
Team player: Bring a positive attitude and be a leader at the company.

Qualifications 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing for a product that sells to mid-market and/or enterprise companies.
Breadth in all areas of marketing, depth in product marketing and growth marketing
High quality bar. You've developed marketing strategies and tactics that put the customer first and understand how to hit revenue goals at the same time.
Scrappiness and experimentation mindset. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves, since we are still an early stage company.
