Regional Voter Protection Director - Hotline - Coordinated Position Regional Voter Protection Director - Hotline - Coordinated
Description The Arizona Democratic Party's (ADP) Coordinated Campaign is seeking a Regional Voter Protection Director to join our statewide program and manage our multilingual Voter Assistance Hotline. The Regional Voter Protection Director will work within the Voter Protection Team to implement Hotline programming and voter education, ensuring ballot access for all Arizonans in 2024. We are looking for someone with strong organizing and communication skills.
Logistics
Salary: $6,000/month
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Hours: This position's schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
Responsibilities/Duties
Develop and maintain an understanding of Arizona voting laws and related issues
Triage and prioritize questions, concerns, and issues from voter or volunteers on the Hotline to inform voter education resource creation
Support the day-to-day management of the Voter Assistance Hotline by organizing volunteers to continually staff all lines during business hours
Facilitate trainings and 1:1's for volunteers
Assist with the data-driven recruitment and engagement of voter protection volunteers
Monitor and manage Hotline operations and phone system logistics
Position Requirements Skills & Qualifications
One previous year on a campaign or advocacy organization is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills in order to support communication within the campaign and amongst
Proven time management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in order to meet deadlines
Ability to communicate and facilitate information on voting in Arizona
Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and work with other team members, as well as a desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Proficiency in Google Suite
Spanish fluency required
