Role & Responsibilit y: Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success
Responsible for developing and implementing a departmental growth strategy.
Manages and mentors the entire Solutions Engineering team.
Works collaboratively with the HR department to become the hiring manager for future talent.
In addition to managing the SE Department, the SE Manager will also be personally responsible for driving an assigned territory and must perform all job duties of a pre-sales Solutions Engineer necessary to achieve successful closure of the sales process. (This includes but is not limited to; working with customers to determine business requirements, recommend network designs, deliver solutions, and answer customers’ technical questions.)
Further develops and drives the technical support process.
Manages all customer facing technical support.
Works in collaboration with the Finance department to manage the Netsuite support process for Sales Engineering team.
Manages the Lucidchart, Diagrams & Design Solutions process for the Sales Engineering team.
Acts as the liaison to field feedback to the product development team in Richardson, TX
Builds, maintains, and manages a demo environment that supports remote access in the Richardson, Texas location.
Collaborate with engineering and sales team members to review customer insights and needed product requirements.
Manages the product roadmap for all products.
Collaborate with the Marketing department on the technical positioning and messaging of products.
Provides and presents competitive analysis reporting.
Oversees tech partner integrations and enablement training systems in collaboration with VP of Business Development & Marketing.
Create and conduct technical presentations and provide sales enablement to support all sales team members as needed.
Creates and maintains technical training programs and certifications for; Internal Employees

Skills & Experience: Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive
10+ years’ experience as solution architect or having specialized in pre-sales system engineering.
3+ years people management experience strongly preferred.
Proven experience in Network Design and Network Infrastructure Design.
Highly proficient in utilizing & troubleshooting multiple operating systems.
Previous experience utilizing Netsuite, Hubspot, Lucidchart strongly preferred.
Cisco certifications preferred, such as CCT Routing & Switching, CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, or CCIE Security.
Familiarity with cloud (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker) and virtualization platforms and designs preferred.
Hands-on experience configuring Routing and Switching equipment.
Thorough understanding of Layers 2-4 networking data standards and popular Layer 7 protocols Familiarity with Network Packet Broker solutions.
Experience with multiple network connectivity standards, including copper and fiber.
Know-how in Network Design and Network Infrastructure Design
Experience creating or implementing LAN and WAN topologies.
