Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As a Senior Advanced Information Assurance Engineer, you’ll perform - or lead - system security architecture/design tasks, system security requirements analysis/definition, Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities, security trade studies, and security verification and validation with little or no supervision. You’ll contribute to detailed security analyses at the system of system (SOS) level. Basically, you’ll impact standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life-cycle. What you bring to the table:
Experience in system of systems (SoS) development of security architecture and design, detailed security analysis, design/development of security solutions, and system engineering development processes to meet mission needs and customer expectations
Experience in building or integrating Cross Domain solutions and products
Experience in implementing security in a cloud-based infrastructure
Experience in a software development environment, with DevSecOps with Agile process experience preferred
Proficiency in the use and understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories
Experience in the technical cybersecurity tasks for medium and large teams or projects, including mentoring of less-experienced engineers
Proficiency in effective selection of appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the development and implementation of cybersecurity engineering products and solutions
What sets you apart:
Skilled application of cybersecurity technology and trends to the architecture and design of large systems, including assessment and mitigation of system threats and risks throughout the program life cycle
Capable use of identification, authentication, and authorization principles and products in system architectures
Experience in Network/Security Management
Implementation of cybersecurity specifications such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), STIGs, FedRamp, and other government security specifications/guidelines
Experience in interfacing with senior program leadership, external customers, security professionals, and senior levels of security working groups
Skills in technical writing and verbal communication, including development, review, and presentation of information/reports, orally and in writing
Effective handling of complex assignments and ability to quickly grasp and apply new information
One last thing:
An active Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is highly desired
