General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate need for an Information Assurance Professional in Scottsdale, AZ.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience developing System Security Plans (SSP) and all supporting Assessment and Authorization documentation such as Security Assessment Reports, SCTM's and POA&M's
Experience with eMASS and Service NOW (SNOW) risk management and compliance automation tools
Experience with various system security assessment/hardening tools - SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, ACAS, etc
Trained and proficient in Assured File Transfer (AFT) procedures
Self-starter with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
Contributes to the achievement of business objectives
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team throughout the system life cycle
DoD Professional Certification meeting IAM Level I (e.g., Security + CE, CAP, GSLC)
Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of the NISPOM-DAAPM, NIST SP 800-53, and CNSSI 1253
Contact with project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering department and with project teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Target salary range: USD $107,520.00/Yr. - USD $119,280.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
