Job Title: Manager of Social Services
Shift Schedule: Day's (Rotating Weekends)
Salary Range: $64.70 - $72.46
Job Summary
This position reports to the Director of Case Management and oversees the operations of the Social Services Department. Plans, directs, and coordinates all operational activities for areas of responsibility. Develops policies and procedures and quality improvement programs for areas of responsibility. Develops the capital and operating budgets in areas of responsibility. Ensures areas of responsibility are appropriately staffed by hiring and retaining competent staff.
Requirements:
Education:
•Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
Experience:
•2 years of general acute care/experience REQUIRED
•LCSW CA License REQUIRED
•Must have experience with understanding the law about discharging homeless patients, trauma assessments, and managing social issues.
•Social Services, progressive acute care management experience, trauma/stroke, and homelessness case management/discharging planning
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
