Title Senior HRIS Data Analyst Reports to Senior Product Manager Overview As a member of the URBN HRIS team, the Senior HRIS Data Analyst is responsible for the administration of URBN’s HRIS, Payroll and Workforce Management systems My URBN (UKG Pro) and My Time (UKG Dimensions). The Senior HRIS Data Analyst impacts system design, functionality, and utilization by strategically analyzing and translating organizational needs into technical configuration, process design, and change management procedures. The Senior HRIS Data Analyst serves as the main point of contact for system configuration, security, integrations, reporting, metrics, and analytics. Responsibilities
Ensures system configuration complies with all federal, state, and local regulations and stays up to date on changing regulatory requirements.
Accountable for employee reporting, metrics, analytics, and dashboards; partners with various groups within the organization to identify data needs and best reporting approach.
Build complex reports and analytics for multiple business functions.
Conducts system functionality gap analyses, recommends, and implements enhancements to configuration.
Makes configuration updates within UKG systems for permission profiles, new stores, new jobs, hierarchy moves etc.
Support HRIS release updates through analysis of system changes, testing, and change management.
Builds tools to monitor and analyze system performance and utilization.
Serve as tier 2 customer support by investigating and resolving complex escalated support issues.
Coordinate and participate in testing for system implementations, upgrades, enhancements.
Maintain discretion and ensure proper handling while dealing with highly sensitive data.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, IT or a related field of study.
5+ years of work experience in HCM, HRIS, Payroll or Workforce Management system administration.
Experience with UKG Pro (formerly UltiPro) preferred, experience with cloud HRIS and/or Payroll software required.
Experience with UKG Pro WFM (formerly UKG Dimensions) integrations. Boomi experience a plus.
Experience with developing and maintaining API connections a plus.
Experience with IBM Cognos reporting, analysis and data visualization preferred, prior experience with HR/Payroll reporting tools and visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableau or Looker required.
Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
Strong understanding of Employment, Payroll, Timekeeping, and Wage & Hour concepts and regulations.
Highly detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Aptitude for creative thinking and problem solving.
