POSITION SUMMARY
Critical business role which creates, drives, and maximizes opportunities inside Lowes with the Interior and Exterior Door merchants. This position is responsible for managing the Lowes national account team. Major objectives include establishing, nurturing, and growing partnerships with Lowes Merchants, Merchandising Vice Presidents, Visual Merchants and Supply Chain/Business Analyst. This role requires an ability to build long-term strategic plans, influence key stakeholders, manage multiple tasks/projects and contribute to a strong, driven, value added team.
JOB EXPECTATIONS
Act as a senior liaison for Lowes
Prioritize client satisfaction, promote new services, set targets and ensure healthy relationships between Woodgrain and Lowes
Follow up on complaints and questions from Lowes
Monitor and identify market trends, competitors and new leads
Ensure brand consistency
Identify, pursue and close deals for new opportunities at Woodgrain
Build and take ownership of a trusted relationship with merchants for the success and profitability of Woodgrain
Support merchants and Woodgrain account team with category management
Be the category and consumer leader for the category
Clearly articulate and influence customers’ needs to internal management
Collaborate with marketing team to develop new cost-effective point of purchase materials
Set strategy and lead Product Line Review teams to fully maximize Woodgrain’s strength and success in line reviews
Utilize a consultative solution based selling approach with Home Depot, providing broad category and consumer insights and solutions to drive category and brand sales
Maintain oversight of Lowes account and utilize solid judgement to resolve issues
Be able to lead a team to meet the short time times on various projects assigned by Lowes
Work closely with the National Account Service Director to ensure that Woodgrain is providing a best in class service program to Lowes
Collaborate with other divisions within Woodgrain to create new innovative products to sell to Lowes
Be able to operate in a highly fluid/fast moving environment
This position requires supervisory responsibility; direct reports will include the interior and exterior Door Account Managers

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from accredited four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Overnight travel is required. Expected travel time 40-50%.
