Salary: $105,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience

Terrific Associate Director of Development position with a statewide social services nonprofit in California. The Associate Director of Development will be an integral member of a committed, supportive and collaborative team. They will manage the full lifecycle of fundraising for a portfolio of approximately 125 individual giving donors and prospects capable of giving $5,000+. The position will also plan and execute fundraising and stewardship events in collaboration with an events planner. This will include cultivating relationships and securing corporate sponsorships from local businesses. Candidates should have approximately 3-5+ years of related development experience. Bachelor's degree is required. This position is remote and can be based in the Sacramento (preferred) or San Francisco areas. The salary for this position is $105,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide moves management to a portfolio of major gifts donors and prospects capable of giving $5,000+

Collaborate with an event planner and volunteer council to plan and execute fundraising events

Manage relationships with corporate sponsors for the annual fundraising event

Develop and implement effective strategies to cultivate relationships and solicit gifts

Perform prospect research and qualify new leads

Collaborate with the volunteer council to engage and increase fundraising

Travel for meetings and events, as needed

Qualifications:

Approximately 3-5+ years of relevant development experience

Bachelor's degree required

Demonstrated track record of closing major gifts of $5,000+

Familiarity with the Sacramento fundraising landscape is strongly preferred

Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills

Experience utilizing a donor CRM

Ability to travel for donor meetings and events
