As an Assistant Director of Operations - Warehouse and Logistics, you will assist the Director of Operations in the management of the district's warehouse and logistics platform.
In this role you will:
Support the Service Center Managers in aligning service center operations and customer service expectations within the district.
Work in conjunction with the Service Center Managers to improve methods, procedures, and quality in the service centers.
Make regular service center visits to assure that customer service and related work meets standards; ensure compliance with safety requirements.
Make recommendations regarding employee promotions, transfers, salary revisions, adjustments to staffing levels, and succession planning within the service centers.
Work with the Director, Operations to oversee all warehouse and logistic functions.
What you bring to the table:
Minimum 3 years' experience: prior service center or distribution center management required
4 years plus experience preferred
Four-year degree preferred
Knowledge of warehouse and logistic practices
Knowledge of continuous improvement process
Knowledge of continuous improvement processes
Oral and written communication skills
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to effectively develop service center leadership in delivering efficient, high-quality service
Frequent travel required
Compensation Details:
The expected rate of pay for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 annually depending on experience.
