**Job Summary and Qualifications**

As a **Cafeteria Supervisor II** you will supervise the daily operations of the Food and Nutrition Services department including meal preparation, meal service, customer satisfaction, quality improvement projects, sanitation, scheduling and staffing.

**What you will do in this role:**

+ As a Cafeteria Supervisor II you will train/orient/schedule personnel for all aspects of food service, sanitation, and safety. You will monitor employee performance and outcomes; retrain as needed.

+ You will demonstrate, understand, and practice safe food handling techniques including dating/labeling, time/temperature measurements, correcting critical control issues.

+ You will coordinate the acquisition of food items and functionally supervise the activities of food preparation, storage, and distribution to multiple meal services and multiple food service sites.

+ You will ensure that maintenance work orders, incident reports and work schedules are completed in a timely manner.

+ You will maintain food production records, quality assurance data, and performance improvement data as required.

+ You will demonstrate excellent and timely problem solving skills in handling patient, employee, and customer issues.

**What qualifications you will need:**

+ 3 years food service supervisor experience required.

+ Food Handlers permit or must obtain during the first two weeks of hire date
