Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Specialist to visit, call, and manage existing accounts in all market areas of XLP, as well as prospect for new opportunities
Key Job Responsibilities
Sales
Inside sales to assigned customer base
Develop and grow sales within XL Parts -All markets
Sales channel that does not prefer in-person visits
Identify potential for sales appointments, competitor conquest, and permanent assignment within sales channels (customer migration)
Cultivate lasting relationships with account base
Gather and maintain customer profile information
Effectively identify sales opportunities
Maintain clear records in CRM
Effectively promote value-added services (Online ordering, TGTR, Training Clinics, PSC, MyXLP, etc.)
Qualify leads for online credentials
Sales Calls / Call Reports
Conduct outbound phone calls within established sales protocol
Maintain contacts and sales reports
Attendance / Work Schedule / Territory Management
Based at XLP Corporate headquarters
Time allocation – approximately 18 days monthly in the office, 2 days field
Availability of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. Workdays Monday – Friday
Attend meetings, clinics, and association functions as scheduled
Special Projects
Assist with AR Collections when needed
Completes special assignments as determined
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5-years’ experience with XL Parts (sales role preferred)
Knowledge of auto parts or the automotive industry
Experience in Outside Sales, Inside Sales, or Account Management
Valid driver's license and Insurance
Must have own vehicle
Physical Demands: Typical 9-hour day to include driving and frequent computer (iPad) usage for call reports. To perform the duties of this job the employee must have a clean driving record and be able to sit for long periods of time. The occasional heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
