Title: Program Specialist

Job Purpose: This role works with the health education and activity programs, the Program Specialist plays a pivotal role in facilitating, managing, and aiding in the execution of these initiatives at various sites throughout San Francisco. Focused on a core program
Responsibilities:
Leading hands-on activities, educational demonstrations, consultations, and action planning, instructing exercise classes, and conducting outreach.

Someone who knows exercise (workout for seniors); can instruct flexibility, cardio, and strength classes.
Creating schedules and programs for instructors (60 classes per week)
1,500 people, serving classes 2x a week (working with 15 other partners/senior centers)
Train instructors coming in, and will give feedback to instructors
The specialist will train, and will be in-charge of opening new locations/retaining the business partner relationships.
Traveling: all within SF, in-charge of opening new locations/retaining the partner relationship
Recruiting, enrolling, and orienting participants to the programs, maintaining participant files, and overseeing the distribution and collection of surveys.
Assisting in the development of a referral program in the community, conducting outreach efforts such as presentations, flyers, and informational material at community health events.
Managing class schedules, coordinating leaders, and conducting workshops at multiple centers throughout San Francisco, particularly in Spanish.
Procuring supplies and equipment for workshops and classes.
Collaborating with partners, attending program and committee meetings, and ensuring the collection and submission of required data and documentation.
Conducting regular site visits to ensure program compliance.
Overseeing the onboarding, training, evaluations, and ongoing education of independent contractors, program staff, and volunteers.
Required Qualifications:
1-2 years of managerial experience.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, Cantonese or Mandarin, preferred.
Proficiency in computer usage and exceptional writing skills.
