**YOUR MISSION**
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll spearhead the transformation of our manufacturing processes, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and ingenious solutions. From conceptualization to execution, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing efficiency, reliability, and sustainability across our operations.
**RESPONSIBILITIES THAT THRILL**
Unleash your creativity to pioneer improvements in equipment and processes, setting new benchmarks for excellence.
Craft seamless system designs that seamlessly integrate equipment with precise process requirements, driving operational synergy.
Lead the charge in developing intricate heat and material balance or process flow diagrams, laying the groundwork for optimized performance.
Take the helm in the development of piping and instrumentation diagrams, piping material specifications, piping isometric diagrams, equipment data sheets, and more.
Generate fabrication, construction work packages and procurement technical specifications.
Perform piping hydraulics calculations, size of related equipment including control valves, pressure valves, heat exchangers, pumps, boilers, ammonia chillers, wastewater treatment plants, and compressors.
Champion the mechanical engineering realm throughout the lifecycle of capital projects, from feasibility studies to flawless execution.
Develop drawings and parts lists for equipment built or modified by Home Market Foods.
Gather quotes from vendors and contractors and make accompanying recommendations.
Review and approve mechanical deliverables, including drawings, calculations, technical bids, Request for Information,(RFI's) and Proposals (RFP's).
Collaborate closely with engineering team members and subcontractors ensuring seamless coordination and delivering top-tier results in a timely manner.
Research and development improvements to existing equipment and processes.
Empower our vision for lean manufacturing by implementing innovative methodologies and cutting-edge Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required, serving as your passport to innovation.
A minimum of 5-10 years of mechanical engineering wizardry within the manufacturing realm, demonstrating your seasoned expertise.
Proven prowess in navigating design codes and standards such as PIP and ASME, showcasing your commitment to excellence.
