KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REPRESENTATIVE INITIATIVES:
•Identify critical issues and opportunities using both quantitative and qualitative analysis to make recommendations to management on how to optimize near-term and long-term growth and profitability.
•Assist operating management to compile strategic plans to increase market share, profitably, in key regional markets and with targeted market segments.
•Analyze competitors' strengths and weaknesses and review and modify on a regular basis to ensure current business plans are aligned for success.
•Assess new business opportunities (M&A) and their potential impact.
•Formulate strategic recommendations in response to changes in the economy, industry and competitive landscape.
•Improve the company's market share tracking process. Provide a base from which progress can be measured and establish a mechanism for informed change when needed.
•Assist in the implementation of a robust sales and operations planning process.
•Maximize and optimize the company's use of internal and external benchmarking.
•Actively participate in quarterly divisional business reviews and annual budget meetings.
•Assist in the preparation of materials for Board of Directors meetings as requested.
•Serve as a sounding board for the CEO and other senior leaders on a variety of operational and strategic initiatives.
•Interface with a broad set of outside constituencies, i.e. bankers, attorneys' customers and suppliers.
