Position Overview
Seeking a VP with expertise in computational chemistry and data science, ready to enhance and expand a state-of-the-art computational platform. The candidate should be driven by the latest innovations in drug discovery technology, possess strong leadership skills, and have a zeal for impactful change.
Core Responsibilities
Spearhead the development and strategy of our client’s computational platform, integrating novel computational techniques and GPCR structural biology to aid drug discovery and development.
Lead collaborative efforts with the structural biology and medicinal chemistry teams, aligning research with strategic corporate objectives.
Oversee the growth and management of the computational chemistry and data science teams, fostering a cohesive environment across US and China operations.
Engage in high-level strategic decisions, influencing company direction, and fostering academic and industry partnerships.
The ideal candidate will be a distinguished professional with:
A Ph.D. in a related scientific field and over a decade of industry experience in computational chemistry.
A record of scientific publication or patent filing.
Proficiency in modern computational tools and a solid grasp of the science behind them.
A proactive leader, comfortable with leading cross-functional teams, and fluent in English and Chinese.
Compensation
A competitive salary range starting at $260,000, plus a bonus, equity, and benefits package is on offer, with precise compensation tailored according to experience, skills, and location specifics.
