DESCRIPTION Under general supervision, performs waived, moderate, and high complexity testing; evaluates test results; performs and evaluates quality control procedures; performs preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. Provides laboratory services in a timely manner and consistently delivers excellent customer service. Serves as a technical resource for customers and other staff. Adheres to all safety policies. Performs other related CLS functions as required.A CLS performs patient testing and is expected to work in all subspecialty areas of the laboratory - Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Immunohematology (Blood Bank), Serology, etc.
Depending on experience of the selected candidate, this position will be hired at the CLS or CLS Specialist level.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS).
Less than two (2) years experience qualifies as CLS level; Two (2) + years of experience qualifies as CLS Specialist.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor's Degree.
Experience with SoftLab LIS and Epic.
Strong Generalist skills.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime and at various locations as necessary in accordance with operational needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $110,810 - $145,951 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $53.07 - $69.90
