Job Summary

Leads a team that provides financial analysis in support of business decision making, and handles budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis for Comcast's Residential Services P&L (cable, internet, & home security).

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Partners with senior management to support business planning and operational processes throughout the year.

Analyzes financial and operational data/performance metrics, communicates findings, and risks and makes suggestions to improve processes.

Supports business unit management and other departments with informational requests and special projects.

Possesses understanding of Comcast's policies and procedures and continually implements and reviews procedures and policies for consistency.

Trains, supervises, and develops Finance staff: 1 Sr. Financial Analyst & 2 Financial Analysts.

Leads the day-to-day performance of the Finance team and suggests to upper management work performance improvement.

Performs additional Business Operations duties and tasks as required.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specifications

Analyze: Use existing information and data to inform approach and decision-making. Experience with SQL and/or Essbase is a plus.

Plan: Determine strategies to advance the organization, setting goals, developing, and implementing action plans, and evaluating process, performance, and results.

Solve Problems: Assess problematic areas to identify root causes, capture and process pertinent information, develop potential solutions, and recommend or independently address the problem, as appropriate.

Leadership: Collaborate and cooperate with others to set goals, tackle problems, and formulate plans to improve the organization. Encourage others to grow and achieve positive results.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Relevant Work Experience
