Job Description:
We are looking for a Land Use Attorney to join a prestigious law firm based out in Sacramento. You will play a crucial role in advising clients on various land use and environmental matters. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in Northern California while collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on land use, zoning, environmental regulations, and permitting processes.
Represent clients in hearings, meetings, and negotiations with regulatory agencies and local governments.
Prepare and review legal documents, including development agreements, environmental impact reports, and zoning ordinances.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in land use and environmental law.
Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to develop strategies and solutions for clients.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in good standing.
2+ years of experience litigating land use and environmental law.
Strong knowledge of zoning laws, environmental regulations, and permitting processes.
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
Compensation: $160k - $300k
