Responsibilities:
Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, personal injury claims, employment litigation, and contract disputes.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts to advocate for our clients' interests.
Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on legal matters related to civil litigation.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
4+ years of experience practicing civil litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
Job Description: Insurance Coverage Attorney (REMOTE)
Position: Insurance Coverage Attorney
Location: Fully Remote (California)
Experience: 4+ years of insurance coverage
Billable Hours: 1850
Responsibilities:
Analyze insurance policies and coverage issues to provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
Evaluate claims and coverage disputes, conduct legal research, and draft coverage opinions and coverage position letters.
Represent clients in coverage litigation, including declaratory judgment actions, arbitration proceedings, and other disputes involving insurance coverage issues.
Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions on behalf of clients.
Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on risk management and insurance-related matters.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
4+ years of experience practicing insurance coverage law, preferably in a law firm setting.
In-depth knowledge of insurance law and regulations, including California insurance statutes and case law.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
