About the Role
The Executive Director, US Marketing, Kidney Cancer is a pivotal leadership role within the company's U.S. Oncology business, which is a significant and expanding sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of product marketing, demonstrating exceptional leadership in market assessment, strategy development (including product positioning, branding, promotion, thought leader engagement, and more), forecasting, budget management, and launch planning and execution. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical business experience, with a strong preference for those holding an MBA. The Executive Director will lead a team of marketing professionals, fostering their development and the team's overall marketing excellence, and will be instrumental in fostering a culture of commitment to the company's values and policies.Applicants for this role must have a Bachelor's degree as a minimum educational requirement and a proven track record of leadership in areas of significant business responsibility. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex, fast-paced environments, and a background in managing P&L and making strategic tradeoffs across marketing levers. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with executive-level audiences, are essential. While not mandatory, deep experience in the U.S. Oncology market, as well as experience in sales, account management, customer-facing roles, and digital and data analytics, are highly valued. The role demands a creative problem solver with strong collaboration skills, capable of leading and prioritizing effectively.
