DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).

The impact you will have in this role:

The Project Management role specializes in the management of significant technical projects (e.g., strategic organizational change, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, establishment of control procedures, etc.). Be responsible for all aspects of project lifecycle including project planning, goal setting, leading schedules, and coordinating sources to ensure projects are completed to specification, within the established timeframe, and budget.

Your Primary Responsibilities: Your responsibilities are not limited to weekly status reporting, participating in quarterly planning, assisting in annual resource demand planning, crafting, and leading assigned projects using both the DTCC Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) system and the Jira project management application, and understanding and following a defined software delivery process and associated controls.

Successful candidates will have significant experience in Risk Identification and Risk Management, Team member Coordination, Communication and Reporting. Regulatory reporting is an additional responsibility for applicable projects and applications.

Responsible for the execution of an individual project or multiple smaller projects

Lead cross-functional team to meet the success criteria for the project.

Actively manage and complete overall project delivery plans, which includes schedule, achievements, critical path and delivery expectations; Create, track, report and supervise project metrics.

Negotiate time, scope, resources with project sponsors and functional managers to ensure timely deliverable of each project.

Communicate information between project team and collaborators to ensure alignment.

Clearly track, report and communicate regular project status (including scope, schedule and budget) to project collaborators, management and established governance groups

Identify, document and manage project issues and risks; Mitigate, resolve or escalate appropriately when support is needed from management.

Track all projects against approved budgets and report on actuals, forecasts, and variances. Develop action to bring projects on or under budget unless a variance is approved.

Coordinate and update all project documentation; ensure reviews and signoff/approvals.

Handle project site and artifacts.

Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Mitigates risk by following established procedures and supervising controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Talents Needed for Success: A minimum of seven (7) years in IT Project Management

Bachelors' Degree and/or equivalent years of experience

Shown experience forecasting on project effort and financials and tracking and reporting against budget.

Shown experience with project management tools such as HP PPM or MS Project.

Shown experience with project resource planning, budgeting & estimates.

Experience in resource and project management using HP PPM.

Experience using a Phased (waterfall) delivery approach, Kanban concepts and Agile Deliveries

Experience in Automating Processes

Experience working in the Financial Services or Financial Technologies (FinTech) space.

Experience with MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, SharePoint, Excel Pivot Tables or Power BI

Nice to have skills: Accountability: Pays close attention to detail and accurately reports status of risk items.

Communications: Communicates with transparency to all levels of personnel

Self-Starter: Works independently with minimal direction

Fast Learner: Learns quickly in a fast-paced environment.
