Data Scientist

Outstanding opportunity with a leading provider of geospatial, software, and IT solutions, seeking a Data Scientist for a full-time, permanent position on their team.
*Remote Position. MUST reside in the Eastern Time Zone to be considered*

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to develop complex data architectures and business reporting applications.
Review and provide feedback on data architectures and database designs.
Collaborate with team members to design solutions for internal and external clients.
Perform database development tasks and data migrations (ETL).
Innovate and improve development standards, techniques, tools, and processes.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices through ongoing training.
Provide support and mentorship to team members.
Participate in personnel interviews and RFP response processes.
Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, UX designers, and developers.
Support production systems as needed, including on-call support.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
2-5+ years of experience in Data Analytics and/or Data Science.
2+ years of experience with R.
Experience with Data Visualization using enterprise BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, etc.
1+ year in statistical analysis and survey data analytics.
1+ year of experience with Python
Experience in data/database design, development, and integration.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to design solutions
U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred:
Experience in hybrid agile development methodology
Experience with R Shiny applications
Experience with Tableau
Data engineering experience
Experience with Microsoft Azure Technologies
Exposure to various databases and ETL solutions
