Department Summary
Under the direction of the Parking Manager, the Public Service Officer provides a variety of services to the HSC community. The Public Service Officer is service-oriented and non-combative and does not act as a law enforcement officer. This position provides general support to the Department.
Position Overview
Monitor and enforce parking regulations. Provide simple security services consistent with departmental policy such as door unlocks, motorist assist and assist patients, visitors, and staff. Help ensure that campus buildings and grounds are safe and secure.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Monitor and enforce parking regulations. Provide simple security services consistent with departmental policy such as door unlocks, motorist assist and assist patients, visitors, and staff. Help ensure that campus buildings and grounds are safe and secure.
