Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Batch Scheduling and tools Admin Engineer to join our team. As a Stone Brance Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of batch scheduling and admin tasks, including but not limited to: Roles and Responsibilities :
Develop and document job scheduling procedures that meet requirements and adhere to defined policies.
Provide job scheduling, job execution, reporting and Resolution, taking into account infrastructure and system interdependencies.
Implement and manage scheduling tools for managing/automating job execution (e.g., job workflow processes, interdependencies, [CLIENT] contacts, and rerun requirements file exchange functions).
Prepare scheduled and on-demand production and non-production batch jobs for execution.
Execute ad hoc, scheduled and on-demand production and nonproduction batch jobs on required systems.
Monitor progress of scheduled jobs and identify and Resolve issues in scheduling process.
If a scheduled batch job fails, the selected vendor will need the capability to triage and resolve the batch job failure to ensure a successful run.
Support startup and shut-down online/interactive systems according to defined schedules or upon approved request.
Maintain database of job scheduling, contact, rerun and interdependencies.
Provide quality control for reprocessing activities, such as batch reruns.
Prepare job run parameters.
Validate job results per [CLIENT] instructions.
Notify [CLIENT] and maintain a history of job completion results.
Interface with external suppliers and Third Parties as required.
Request schedule modification
Notify Campbell if ad hoc scheduling requests will impact the completion of regularly scheduled jobs.
Resolve scheduling conflicts
Provide schedule status updates and reporting.
Proactively communicate schedule changes, issues, and ad-hoc changes to schedule in a timely manner via daily and monthly reporting that will be setup.
The vendor should be able to generate reports from Campbell's Batch systems and disseminate all agreed upon reports on the predefined cadence.
Prior to weekly and team meetings will conduct trend analysis and provide meaningful insights about the data.
Documentation: Maintain documented procedures for ensuring reliable monitoring and scheduling of critical processes in accordance with Policy and Procedures Manual.
Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Relevant experience with Stone Branch scheduling tool.
Proven experience working as a Batch Scheduling Engineer or similar technical support role.
Experience working with Batch Scheduling tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users and stakeholders.
Leadership abilities and experience leading a team, providing guidance, and monitoring performance.
Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of ITIL framework and incident management processes is a plus.
