Responsibilities:
Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
Read, write, and speak English and know how to read engineering drawings (blueprints).
Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
Participate in routine visual inspections
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
Must be capable of using measuring instruments including, but not limited to, tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.
Must be proficient in the English measurement system and be able to learn the metric system
Must be capable of working in an active manufacturing environment, be able to climb stairs and ladders, and be able to lift, push, or pull at a maximum of 40 lbs.
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
