About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Finance to oversee all financial and business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic financial planning, leading the annual budget process, and maintaining financial models to support decision-making. This role involves managing a team to ensure the efficiency of all financial functions, including accounting, and grants management. The Managing Director of Finance will also work closely with the senior leadership team to streamline systems, update policies, and enforce procedures that ensure financial accuracy and benefit the organization. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, with an MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred, and 5-10 years of experience in an accounting role. Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with financial management systems is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in nonprofit or fund accounting, be adept at problem-solving, and have strong leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities include maintaining fiscal policies, managing payroll, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations, and overseeing the annual financial audit. The role demands a detail-oriented, goal-driven individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
