**Summary**

DLA Piper is seeking an Attorney to join its Litigation group. This is a non-partnership track position open to our Philadelphia office.

**Education**

+ JD

+ Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized schools

**Bar Admission**

+ Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania

+ Candidates also admitted to practice in New York are encouraged to apply

**Experience**

+ 3+ years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts

+ Experience conducting and defending depositions

+ Experience managing a case docket

+ Experience appearing in court

+ Experience handling toxic tort and asbestos litigation

**General & Essential Job Expectations**

**Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements**

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

**Work Environment**

+ Hybrid with some in-office expectations or remote (as appropriate)

+ Some travel required
