Comprehensive evaluation of social, emotional, and psychiatric history/diagnosis
Treatment and safety planning
Determining the appropriate level of care,
Establishing connections with necessary resources, and facilitating admission to suitable inpatient facilities when needed.
Additionally, active engagement is maintained with crisis hotlines, schools, community partners, first responders, and hospital emergency departments.
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in counseling, social work, or related behavioral health field (M.A., M.S., MSW, MFT)
Plan to obtain licensure within two (2) years, preferred
2 years experience in a behavioral health setting, preferred
Must have sufficient language skills and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing to accurately and professionally implement and document the services provided to clients
Must be able to perform and understand active listening, ethical conduct, social perception, service orientation, complex problem-solving, writing, monitoring, judgment and decision-making skills
Experience working therapeutically with those in crisis
Experience using various treatment modalities appropriate to those in crisis , utilizing strength-based therapeutic approaches
Experience working in a team environment
