Steward Medical Group is recruiting an experienced Cardiologist with expertise in Heart Failure to become part of the Cardiovascular Division providing services at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton, MA. The ideal candidate will be a Cardiologist who is BE/BC in Heart Failure or have concentrated training and experience in heart failure management. Experience in the management of mechanical circulatory support patients is required. Physician will serve as the lead clinical in development of various heart failure initiatives to optimize care delivery, maintain low length of stay and decrease readmission rates. The physician will have an academic appointment at the Tufts University School of Medicine and responsibilities will include participation in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. St. Elizabeth's Medical Center is a major teaching hospital affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine.
The Steward Medical Group Cardiology Department provides in-patient and elective service. The department additionally has a cardiac rehabilitation program available on campus.
