Job Title: Facilities Manager
Salary Range: $68,000-$83,000

About the Position
The Facilities Services Manager is responsible for the development, documentation and implementation of overall procurement strategies and planning. Responsible for obtaining bids, reviewing purchasing agreements and drafting request for proposal (RFP’s) for review by Director and CFO. This role coordinates projects with vendors and in-house customers.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Develop relationships with Evergreen Goodwill internal customers.
Maintaining and establish business relationships with key suppliers and customers.
Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers.
Assist in ensure timely and accurate completion of work order requests.
Implement and manage projects and facility maintenance tasks.
Write and issue project related purchase orders.
Resolve vendor/contractor issues and claims.
Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement
Manage janitorial, purchasing and maintenance teams in Dayforce.
Establishes and maintains purchasing policies, procedures, contracts and agreements.
Partner with Procurement and Facilities Director to review current supply agreements. Determines sources of supply and services by evaluating suppliers on price, quality, service support, availability, etc.
Participates in purchase specifications development and bid solicitation. Source service and supply vendors for Facilities as needed.
Adhere to purchasing practices, procedures and standards. Create, implement and maintain training materials for Procurement and Facilities in Partnership with Director and ODT Department.
Assist Facilities Director with developing capital budgets in collaboration with store management and other management personnel.
Assist Facilities Director in implementing, scheduling, and managing capital budget projects.
Manage projects related to facility maintenance, including determining work scope, pricing, scheduling, supervision of vendors and coordination with stores, as requested by Director.
Create, implement and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance procedures, including equipment nomenclature, project management schedules, costs, renewal dates, etc.
Upholds safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; train and educate employees of safety requirements; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Goodwill’s policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Partner with People Relations as needed and appropriate.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
1-3 years of relevant experience in same or related field.
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience.
Accounting or purchasing experience preferred.
General knowledge of Microsoft D365 and Dayforce a plus.
Must be able to present concepts to various audiences.
Proven analytical skills, attention to detail, sense of urgency.
Ability to perform financial and/or mathematical analyses.
Ability to work independently and work as a team.
Demonstrated capability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and workload management skills
Ability to handle conflicts or challenging situations confidently
Ability to foster positive relationships.
Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:
Valid WA State driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job.
Physical Abilities
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required sit for long periods of time, communicate with other employees by talking and hearing, required to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 -20 pounds and to operate computer systems. Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills. Maintain reliable attendance.

Work Environment: Office and store environment, moderate noise level, dust. Must have reliable transportation as this position requires some travel to Evergreen Goodwill locations, offsite meetings and events.
