Summary :
The Support Analyst provides support for the day-to-day management of the user facing Infrastructure systems (workstations, printers, networks, servers, data storage, communications, and related areas). Works within IT Operations for support of user systems and applications in central administrative and office support activities for the entire company. Responsibility includes both on-prem and cloud Infrastructure.
Key Job Responsibilities
Manages network condition and deployment of IT assets ensuring compliance with all MAN Energy solutions, IT policies and procedures.
Follows MAN Energy Solutions disaster recovery procedures.
Coordinates special projects including network related wiring plans, LAN/WAN hardware/software purchases, and system image, configuration, installation, backup, maintenance and problem solving.
Assists with the administration and maintenance vendor based phone system.
Assists with the creation of new hire telephones, mobile phones and voicemail extensions, routing extensions to appropriate locations and updating information as personnel seating assignments change.
Acts as Tier 2 and 3 support for all IT related systems for MAN Energy Solutions - US sites. Interacts with internal personnel to resolve basic help desk issues; communicates with personnel in a professional manner maintaining confidentiality.
Administer and maintain building access control and onsite security cameras.
Works with organizational group IT on escalated issues.
Supports additional activities as required by the IT Manager.
Provides occasional technical support to other North America offices in Mexico and Canada
Required Education: Bachelors in computer science, information technology or related degree preferred.
Required Experience: 2 to 5 plus year related experience and/or training; or acceptable to meet the competency requirements of education or experience.
Required 3rd party Certifications/Qualifications: A+
Network+
Other skills Experienced with Windows 7 Pro and above
Experienced using Office 2010 through Office 365
Experienced using SAP preferred.
Experience with SharePoint
