Job Overview:
As the Production Coordinator at Valley Christian School, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production and media aspects of events for Valley Christian Schools from Preschool through High School. This dynamic position requires a committed individual with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance the overall experience of our school community.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Coordinate sound, lighting, and video elements for all school events
Collaborate with the Production Director to execute the overall ministry vision and direction
Train and oversee student operators for school events, with a focus on Chapel productions
Maintain equipment, including installation, minor repairs, and ordering of necessary supplies
Serve as the main tech operator for all school events, scheduling volunteers as needed
Set up AV equipment for events within the school
Utilize advanced audio and visual equipment, including Behringer Wing audio console, Behringer X32 ONYX lighting systems, ProPresenter7 presentation software, and ROE video wall
Interact with administrators, teachers, and students to assess and assimilate media requirements for events
Monitor the master calendar for school events, coordinating media needs approval
Work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends as required, and be on call for all events
