Job Summary:
The Sales Coordinator supports sales account managers in administrative tasks, enhances communication, become more efficient, and ensures smooth execution of product item and product/sample management.
Item Management
Partners with sales teams to support new product item & feature setup, item content health scores and item maintenance(entering, tracking, and communicating progress and completion across sales teams).
Maintains new and existing product item files, feature files & other ad hoc maintenance and tracking files. Performs online audit of product items (images, description, etc.).
Supports promotional and feature documents for the account teams.
Product & Sample Management
Owns account teams sample ordering and management processes for line reviews, strategic meetings, and any other account management needs.
Establishes a community of practice with Sales Coordinator peers to identify best practices.
Works cross functionally with customer supply chain, ecommerce, analytics, customer planning, and commercial finance teams to support account management in both the execution and planning of the business.
Owning and driving compliance with internal deliverables.
Supports Customer meeting planning and line review prep.
Supports sales team with operational needs, new customer set up, internal segment set up
Assists in developing cohesive team processes and trackers for effective execution.
Owns meeting cadence and invites with account managers to obtain tasks and priorities.
Maintains a high level of organization to efficiently manage tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and streamline workflows.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Collaborative and effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict management skills.
Experience working in CPG industry is a plus.
Experience pulling data from syndicated data systems and running reports is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, creative thinking, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and redirect frequently.
Self-starter with a bias toward action, taking initiative, and communicating challenges with solutions.
Proficient in Windows Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of relevant experience (sales, operations, supply chain, logistics environment)
