Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client in Livermore, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, including the critical function of 3-way matching.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Collaborate with procurement and receiving departments to resolve invoice issues
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Assist with month-end closing and prepare accruals as necessary
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong relationships
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role
Proficiency in 3-way matching and accounts payable processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
