Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Contract Wizardry: Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts from initiation to execution, adhering to company policies and practices while ensuring optimal terms.
Communication Maestro: Serve as the go-to contact for contract-related inquiries, resolving issues, managing revisions, and ensuring clarity in contractual language.
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with sales, IT, logistics, finance, and legal teams to mitigate commercial risks and optimize contract outcomes.
Risk Mitigation Maven: Identify and escalate potential risks, working closely with department leaders to develop effective mitigation strategies.
Contractual Oversight: Oversee existing contracts, evaluating performance, and ensuring compliance, while also managing necessary amendments and extensions.
Efficient Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive database of contracts and legal documents, ensuring accessibility and organization.
Continuous Improvement Champion: Drive initiatives to enhance the contract management process, fostering efficiency and effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, fostering understanding of contractual terms and their impact on business operations.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in the manufacturing/consumer goods industry or corporate environment, with a strong background in managing commercial contracts.
Contractual Expertise: Proficiency in reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating commercial contractual terms, with excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, legal management software, and digital signing tools to streamline contract processes.
Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple functions, prioritizing team success and effective communication.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, planning, and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deliver exceptional results.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate internally and externally with various departments.
