Your expertise will drive the architectural decisions and strategies necessary to deliver robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based systems. Responsibilities:
Collaborate to understand business needs and technical requirements, translating them into innovative and effective cloud solutions leveraging cloud best practices.
Lead the design and development of comprehensive cloud architectures, encompassing infrastructure, platforms, and services, to meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability goals.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and technical teams, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices within the organization.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud technologies, tools, and services to optimize solution performance, cost efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
Drive the creation of technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, specifications, design patterns, and implementation plans.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, DevOps, security specialists, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
In-depth familiarity with DevOps practices, including but not limited to version control systems, automation tools, infrastructure provisioning, and continuous feedback loops.
Participate in pre-sales activities, assisting in presentations, proposals, and solution demonstrations.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and cloud platform updates, and provide thought leadership on incorporating these advancements into the organization's solutions.
Conduct regular architecture reviews, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
Provide strategic guidance for migration strategies, considering factors such as risk mitigation, data integrity, and downtime minimization.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Prior Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Cloud Solution Architect, with a demonstrated track record of designing and implementing complex cloud solutions.
Special Qualifications:
In-depth expertise in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), including hands-on experience with cloud services, networking, security, and deployment methodologies.
Strong proficiency in architecture design patterns, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
Proven ability to lead and guide technical teams, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks in the cloud environment.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a drive to stay current with emerging technologies.
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, and Specialties) are highly desirable.
