Senior Database Administrator (PostgreSQL)Location: St. Louis, MO/Denver, CO/Charlotte, NC/Raleigh, NC/Dallas, TX (3 days onsite, 2 remote – can sit in any of the following locations)12 months Contract with possible extensionsRequirements:AWS Aurora/RDSPostgres – DBAUnderstanding SQL, performance tune, optimize, what is causing issues/troubleshooting, how to resolve, etc. – typical DBA.Details:Team creates and supports Charter’s Tech Mobile Application, Android based app used by Field Technicians via their tablets to issue, track, activate and close jobs for customers. There are heavy volumes of data via Activations and Work Orders (WOs)Although this application is internal facing, it is Charter’s most important application and has the most visibility throughout the company.Currently, data is stored via Oracle DB. They are in the midst of planning for a migration to AWS and needing to migrate the data to PostgreSQL.
