Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support the coordination of engineering activities including, but not limited to: processing engineering changes class I and II, interface coordination, industrial support, validation support, technical action identification and closure, production & field support (root cause identification of field events and/or special findings during overhaul shop visits etc.) and task planning (scope, budget and timeline etc.).
Experience with Deviations
Work with the customer to redline drawings and related specs and documents to address any necessary changes
Drive tasks to completion, on time and within budget
Prepare and present information at discipline and/or program reviews
Provide periodic updates to team leader and team members highlighting accomplishments, progress, technical issues and any potential roadblocks
Interfacing with internal stakeholders such as the program office and executives, as well as external stakeholders such as industry customers, government agencies, and suppliers.
Proactively identify project risks, develop robust mitigation plans, and lead the timely execution of those plans.
Participate in technical design discussions and customer presentations
Adherence and development of engineering standard work
Provide timely and effective communication to management, suppliers, the engineering team, and customers
Experience in project engineering for complex mechanical or electrical products
Familiarity with Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) and experience maturing emerging technologies to higher TRL
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred)
3-6 years of related engineering experience
Experience in Project Management and/or component development
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook and PLM Teamcenter
Commitment to delivering on objectives and meeting targets with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
Good communication skills to provide timely, appropriate and useful information to others
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Mostly remote position
Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations if needed
Education: Bachelors Degree
