Project Engineer
World-class manufacturing supplier with North American Headquarters in CT has a direct hire opportunity.
Pay range is from $60,000 - $80.000 based upon experience.
Objective: Providing injection molding solutions that incorporate integrated automation and peripherals to support customer needs
Reports to: Team Manager Turnkey/Automation
Education Required: Four year technical/engineering degree
Experience Required : 3 to 5 years related work experience, preferably with a focus on automation and robot technology.
Tasks and Responsibilities –
· Providing technical product support of injection molding machines and robotics and peripherals
· Working on customers inquiries and preparing specifications and quotations for the customer
· Ensuring smooth execution of projects from the planning of the order through start-up at the customer’s location
· Choosing suitable suppliers for peripheral equipment required for the implementation of the project
· Coordinating the internal department teams and external resources for the implementation of the project
· Providing proof of concept and prototype projects with customers regarding the specific concept options
· Conducting cost and pricing negotiations between Arburg and the customer
· Preparing project documentation upon completion of project for After Sales Service team
· Supporting the sales teams in automation and robot sales
· Benchmarking of suppliers for project pricing and technical capabilities
· Product and turnkey solution presentations at the customer’s location, at trade shows and seminars
