ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
Manage and monitor security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware outbreaks and data breaches.
Provide security engineering services and service delivery for security-related projects; maintain security incident response capabilities
Work closely with IT staff to ensure the security of our platforms and products
Work closely with other parts of the organization to turn requirements into solutions.
Stay up to date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
Implement IT security related audits, coordinate completion of remediating activities related to audit gaps, implement scalable monitoring and alerting.
Perform root cause analysis for issues.
Investigate and resolve technical issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, Information Security, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in information security engineering.
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions.
Strong understanding of security best practices, including secure coding practices, network security principles, and incident response procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
