Job Description : Talgo Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. As an IT Support Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that our employees have optimal access to computer systems and software. Your responsibilities will include resolving technical issues, maintaining hardware and software installations, and improving IT systems. You may also be required to provide IT support to customers.
Responsibilities :
Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, and network-related issues, including printers, internet, emails, hardware, operating systems, and proprietary software.
Collaborate with the global Help Desk team for Talgo Group located in Spain.
Support and follow up with the Talgo Group IT team on opened tickets.
Ensure personal computers, laptops, desktops, telecommunication systems, and networks are functioning properly and available for users.
Troubleshoot, repair, install, and upgrade operating systems and other proprietary software.
Assist in hardware and software deployment planning and execution.
Grant and maintain access to network drives.
Support VPN.
Maintain Talgo Inc. Microsoft SharePoint page.
Prepare reports for projects and tickets as needed.
Deliver exceptional user support service.
Apply creativity and flexibility to find solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Proficient with Windows 7, 10, and workstation connectivity to servers, printers, and the internet.
Familiarity with Configuration CMDB tools.
Experience in Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS management.
Knowledge of LAN/WAN.
M365 administration skills.
Other Important Qualifications :
Must be able to take and pass a pre-employment drug test.
Successfully pass a background check.
Work Schedule : Work hours will usually be from 8 am to 12:30 pm, but may include evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary. Unforeseen situations may require after-hours availability. Some travel may be required.
