What you'll do... Position: Senior Software Engineer
Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Duties: Develop gRPC client-server architecture application using Spring Boot, Java, Kubernetes, and Maven. Migrate Secrets from Vault to Akeyless . Configure application in Kubernetes Pod so that application metrics are visible in Prometheus web UI. Improve existing Grafana dashboard panel by using PromQL , Java, and MeterRegistry APIs. Perform feature enhancement using TDD, Junit test cases, and Microsoft Azure cloud. Design and test No SQL databases. Configure Spring Boot application properties by using CCM portal, Java, and k8s.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (Any), or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (Any), or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.
Skills required: Experience coding in object-oriented programming language Java. Experience designing and implementing REST API using Java, gRPC , SpringBoot , Maven, and client-server architecture. Experience deploying an application on Kubernetes cluster using GitOps process. Experience creating a Grafana dashboard using PromQL query. Experience testing and troubleshooting an application on k8s cluster using kubectl command, Shell Script, and Docker. Experience designing and testing No SQL database. Experience coding JUnit test cases and Test Driven Development with code coverage up to 80%. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $150,762/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives .
