The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for 3 major areas of IT Service Delivery.
The first area is the support and administration of servers, Microsoft 365, Azure, virtual environments, storage, security, and Backup Disaster Recovery (BDR) infrastructure both on-premise and cloud-based solutions.
The second is handling escalations and advanced support of service requests, beyond the abilities of the higher-tier Service Desk Technicians.
The third is assisting the project and technical alignment teams with the implementation of servers, Microsoft 365, Azure storage, and BDR infrastructure projects both on-premise and cloud-based solutions.

Experience working for a Managed Service Provider

Diagnostic skills of technical issues.
Service awareness of all organization’s key IT services for which support is being provided.
Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details.
WANTS
Relevant and current professional IT Certifications, such as:
Microsoft Azure, 365, Security.
Cisco CCNA, CCNP.
ISC2 SSCP, CISSP.

Experience Working for an MSP (5+ years)
