HR Director
The Role:
As the HR Director , you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our HR strategies and initiatives to support our client company’s goals and objectives. You will oversee several aspects of the HR function, including but not limited to talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and employee onboarding and development. This is a senior-level position that requires a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of HR best practices within a complex organizational structure.
What you’ll do:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall objectives and culture.
Lead and manage select members of the HR team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services.
Work closely with the Senior Director of HR to implement broader goals and objectives for the team.
Oversee talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention strategies.
Develop and implement performance management programs to drive employee productivity, engagement, and development.
Collaborate with department heads to provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
Develop in-house recruiting platform that works in conjunction with the current HRIS system
Oversee training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
Maintain HR metrics and analyze data to identify trends, address issues, and implement improvements.
Create and present relevant HR data and reports to key stakeholders within the organization
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and proactively recommend enhancements to HR policies and procedures.
Who we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with certifications in PHR or SPHR. Master's degree preferred.
At least 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Experience working in a fast-paced and complex organizational structure.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing HR team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote/work-from-home environment.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software.
