Group Product Manager

New York, NY, United States

Revenue Engineering is at the core of monetization and product go-to-market at Datadog. The team is responsible for metering and aggregating product usage, modeling and customizing SaaS subscriptions, and surfacing usage and cost insights for all of our customers and product offerings.

As the Group Product Manager for Revenue Engineering, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of Datadog’s usage metering, subscriptions, and pricing data platforms, as well as its customer-facing cost visibility features. You will manage a team of experienced PMs and ensure that Revenue Engineering’s ecosystem and product features can scale to 100+ more products.

You’ll partner with other Datadog product teams to ensure their latest offerings can be launched, metered, and billed properly. You’ll also work closely with a diverse set of stakeholders from Leadership, Engineering, Finance, Customer Success, Sales Systems, Cloud Alliances, Legal, etc. to ensure that the growing platform meets our customers needs and scales with the business.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships that it builds, the creativity it brings to the table, and the collaboration of being together. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our employees can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:

Be accountable for growing and scaling Datadog’s Revenue Engineering data platforms, services, and customer-facing product offerings.

Become an expert in the B2B SaaS metering and monetization space and represent Revenue Engineering in go-to-market conversations with Datadog leadership and other product leaders – while consistently advocating for the customer.

Define the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for both the critical platforms and for customer-facing features – including but not limited to self-service alerting capabilities, budgeting, cost reporting, etc.

Manage a team of PMs to deliver on the roadmap and ensure all work prioritized creates direct value for customers and other product teams within Datadog.

Partner with stakeholders across Engineering, Finance, Product, Customer Success, Sales Systems, etc. to ensure smooth product launches and billing rollouts.

Who You Are:

You have 7+ years of Product Management experience in B2B SaaS or in a payments related technical product.

You have a proven track record managing and scaling large and critical data platforms in the service of other teams.

You have prior experience managing multiple product managers and ensuring they’re delivering on a roadmap that brings customer value.

You have years of experience working directly with leadership and stakeholders from different departments.

You have a passion for a fast-paced, high-growth environment scaling existing products and evangelizing a technical platform.

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:

New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)

Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing

Intradepartmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking

An inclusive company culture, ability to join our Community Guilds (Datadog employee resource groups)

Access to Inclusion Talks, our Internal panel discussions

Free, global mental health benefits for employees and dependents age 6+

Competitive global benefits

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $234,000 to $400,000, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
