Job Title: Sr. Custodian
Location: Santa Barbara
Pay Range: $30-$32/HR
Night Shift Schedule:2am-10:30am OR 4pm-12:30am
What's the Job?
Keeps building and classrooms in clean and orderly condition.
Perform routine maintenance duties; dusts, sweeps, mops, scrubs floors including buffing & high speed hard and resilient floors. Strips, seals and finishes floors.
Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
Operates vacuum cleaner, wet/dry vacuum, vacuum all carpeted areas.
Cleans restrooms, fixtures, mirrors and replenishes soap and paper goods. Empties and cleans wastebaskets and other receptacles.
Responsible for minor maintenance and storage of equipment. May haul, load and/or set up chairs, tables for special functions
Other cleaning duties as assigned
What's Needed? Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
Experience using cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuum cleaners and cleaning solutions
Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals and knowledge of occupational hazard safety rules
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for full shift
Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods of time
Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
High School Diploma
