About the Role
The SVP of Property & Casualty Claims is a pivotal role with a focus on shaping the future of housing claims operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading the claims operations strategy, ensuring alignment with specific metrics and goals, and fostering a culture of superior customer service and regulatory compliance. This multifaceted position involves digital transformation, building and leading a high-performing team, and identifying opportunities for operational cost reduction through process automation. The SVP will also be accountable for utilizing data analytics and predictive modeling to optimize claims handling and will play a critical role in the development of claims operations across the US.Candidates for this role must have a minimum of 15 years of related experience in claims management, including significant leadership experience in a complex, matrixed environment. In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance in the insurance sector is essential, as is the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and manage challenging priorities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of driving change, fostering innovation, and inspiring a diverse team. Expertise in digital technologies, including data analytics and AI-enabled capabilities, is required, as is the ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams to address strategic business projects. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are also a necessity for this role.
