Our Dallas Location is searching for:

ICU/Patient Care Technician – Day Shift

o Our ICU/patient care technicians assist our doctors in a wide range of duties. Including placement of IV catheters, blood draws, IV fluid maintenance, surgical recovery, post-op pain management, post-op patient monitoring and documentation, daily upkeep of patient care ward, communication with clients. Other potential duties may include radiographs, assist surgical prep and induction.

Schedule: Anticipate – rotation schedule – 4 days/week – Full Time

What we are looking for: A Surgery savvy, experienced Veterinary Technician, with strong leadership skills seeking to join a cohesive, dedicated team, committed to quality patient care, and efficient, 5-star client service!

Required Skills: LVT or Experienced Veterinary Assistant dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care .

Ability to maintain a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value.

Initiative – you are a dedicated worker who contributes to the operation of the entire hospital , you will help get all the day’s duties done!

Versatile – you know how to effectively adapt to the individual needs of each patient and are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients and their families.

P ossess clinical skills and experience that include (but are not limited to):

o Safe patient restraint

o Phlebotomy and catheter placement

o Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique

o Proficient in post-op monitoring and care of surgical patients

o Solid foundation of knowledge of common veterinary medications

o Individualized, patient-focused nursing
